- Tokyo Bloodbath -

“The blood jet is poetry, There is no stopping it.”

- Sylvia Plath

August 27, 2016  at The Rosemont in Brooklyn, NY there is a big toy event being held. Vinyl and resin artists from around the world will have pieces up for sale along with free food and music and raffle prizes. As soon as I was invited I contacted my friend Obsessed Panda to see if he was interested in another team project. He was up for the challenge and together we came up with a twisted version of the classic Tokyo style paint application. He used a mix of yellow, green, black and red but rather then sticking to traditional sprays we decided to create the bloodbath edition. Michael used different shades of red to show the splattered, dripping aftermath of a fresh kill. We are very proud of the end result. None of this would be possible of course without incredible vinyl production work from Unbox Industries. The micro-run is limited to 5 pieces and priced at only $65 bucks each. If any are left after the one night event they will be sold online shortly after.
